Packers and Movers On Demand

Objective

To provide an on-demand moving and delivery app that helps the customers to move almost everything at their comfort.

The aim was to provide a user centric app in which all the customer needs to do is a few simple steps to conveniently move their stuff from one place to another.

Problem

The basic challenge faced in these kind of applications is to keep the customer updated with the driver arrival, pickup and delivery status within a predefined distance.

Furthermore, the client put forward a demand to have a customized menu in the app. Although there are a lot of ready made menu APIs available in the market, integrating a customized menu turns out to be a challenge.

Impact

As mentioned earlier, the challenge was to allow notifications from the driver’s end but only if he is within the predefined distance around the customers location.

Our developers took care of this by implementing custom validation which which enables notifications if the driver is located nearby customers location. When it comes to customized menu, we made use of Android Reside Menu to fulfill client’s requirement.
